Occasionally Dell R710 PSU fans will reach 100% resulting in an increase in noise.
Often the only 'fix' is to:
- clear all alerts in the logs
- power off the server
- disconnect power and network cables
- unseat the PSU
- power drain the chassis (hold power for 10+ seconds)
- re-seat PSU
- re-connect power and network cables - Sometimes waiting a few (2-3) minutes before re-connecting all cables is required.
